WebMail ServerGordano's WebMail Server provides a complete, highly configurable, full featured and powerful messaging server via a browser interface. No clients are required to be installed on users desktops other than a standard web browser. Because it's browser based, WebMail allows true Hot desking, by allowing you to use any internet connected PC to access your data.
By utilising HTTPS, WebMail allows for secure access to your data, thanks to it's implementation of SSL technology. The use of Gizmos allows the user interface to be extended, and to embrace external data sources using custom "mash-ups". A choice of user interfaces are provided as described below.
WebMail ProfessionalProvides an advanced web based mail client that brings the power and look of a traditional workstation based mail client to your web browser. It will empower you to receive, reply and manage your e-mail securely from anywhere in the world using a powerful AJAX based interface. All of the facilities you would expect from a mail client are available including support for drag-and-drop, unlimited Address Books, and full collaboration functionality in conjunction with our groupware products.

Details of some of the WebMail Professional features follow;
The intuitive "panel" in WebMail Professional allows a user to quickly and easily access their information switching between Address Books, mailboxes or accessing preferences and settings with a single click. If you have the GMS groupware functionality enabled, you can also access your calendars tasks and notes from the panel.
If the standard color scheme and style of the WebMail Professional interface is not for you, you can customize fonts and colors using Themes or "Skins". WebMail ships with two themes as standard, a blue theme and a silver theme Both the standard themes are made available for you to easily customise into your own theme specifying your own colors, logo, and font style and size, or even if desired your own icon set!
Gizmos are javascript mashups that make GMS WebMail fully extensible - extend the functionality of webmail by adding custom buttons to perform custom functions. Several Gizmos are pre-installed such as as a Dictionary lookup, a PostCode finder, and a translator from English to French. The standard Gizmos are supplied (including the source code) to give an idea of what can be achieved, the rest is up to you!
WebMail ExpressProvides an alternative to the Professional client interface which is ideal for users with slower machines or slower Internet connections. It has a limited feature set when compared to the Professional client but is still very intuitive to use. The Express client is designed to keep page sizes and therefore load times to a minimum. It can also be accessed from all mainstream browser versions.
WebMail MobileProvides a mobile interface to your email account. This is a simple client designed for accessing your mail using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) or other hand-held device including iMode capable devices.
